Two universities host the chapter and two neighbouring ACI chapters connect it to the wider concrete community. Between them they supply the labs, the speakers, and the professional network our members draw on.

Why it matters
The University of Ottawa and Carleton University give the chapter its home: lab space for materials testing, rooms for monthly seminars, and the faculty supervisors who sign off on competition entries.
The ACI Ontario and ACI Quebec & Eastern Ontario chapters connect students to practising engineers. Their events, awards, and scholarship programmes are open to our members, which is how a first-year student ends up in a room with people specifying concrete for a living.
